This is Mae DK, content, publishings and crew manager at Camp Now. I'm writing this on my last day here at the Art Farm before heading to Portland, OR during the month of October. I'm excited for the adventure ahead of me and for my return in November - which brings me to a quick update about our upcoming season...
Currently we are casting for our next semester of evolution at Camp Now. The next residency will be from November 8th - December 20th. We are looking to expand our crew of creative, self driven and skilled individuals. Join us for a semester (or longer) internship program as we continue to explore social justice through art and performance.
At Camp Now you will hands on build skills in artist development, musicality, fundraising, social media, performance and production. We believe in working with each crew members’ special abilities, so work involves opportunites in design, event management, art studio assistance, editing, videography and photography, promotion, product development, music and radio management, web design and upkeep, writing and blogging, retail marketing and game development.
Work along side Cassidy A. Maze - peace activist, performance artist, and inventor of Crealitation - and our other multi-skilled crew members.
Join us for the Artist In Residency and Workshopping of Crealitation, The Musical, sponsored by Camp Now Productions, WKZE and more, with Musical Director Will Bryant, guest starring appearances from the Crealitation House Band and the rest of the Camp Now Crew.
The next phase (November 8th - December 20th) includes: a first sharing of storyboards, script drafts and working with the Musical Director, Tech Director, Theater Director, and Choreographer to complete Writing, Tech, Casting, Rehearsal, Presentation and Filming of Crealitation, The Musical, a one woman show using combination of pre-recordings, live songs, and guest performances.
