Hello, traveling companions. Andy "Cure" Cureado here with another update on Crealitation in action. This time, however, I am not reporting from my native South Dakota. I am at Camp Now, sitting in the retreat cabin, breathing the sweet air of a crealitation victory.
What victory, you ask? Actually, that list keeps growing, but today I want to focus on a musical success; performing my song To Be Here on stage with Cassidy A. Maze and three other remarkable musicians as part of the Crealitation, the Musical premier.
The process started eight years ago. In Crealitation, we work with the idea that there are no coincidences, so it pleases me to tell you that To Be Here played a part in forming my initial connection with Maze. I wrote the song and share it with a friend. He submitted it to an Internet radio program. When he told me he had done this I checked out the station and started listening to other artists’ interviews. One of those interviews was with Maze's 2008 past life and character, Lizzie West. Let me tell you, she was something completely different than all the others. Here was someone speaking of creating your own reality in the same everyday manner you might comment that it has started to rain. I knew I had found someone with true vision.
I reached out and she responded. We remained in contact as I followed her various blogs. Then in 2013, she began to privately unveil the beta version of what has become known as the Crealitation Egg Room and invited me to join the process. Through the Egg Room she became familiar with my work and instructed me in her method, gratitude, presence and awareness. A year ago she advised me she was considering using my song in the musical production she was writing. I was thrilled she decided to use it and genuinely honored to perform it at Sunday's event. For me, an incredible unfolding of a personal dream.
So how did I get from reaching out to someone online to performing onstage with excellent talent including the creator of Crealitation? It is all in following the process.
The Process Is The Point
To participate in Crealitation, you need to complete three assignments:
First, choose a space where you can spend some time alone. If you already have an existing meditation or prayer space, you can modify that if you like. The important element is to have an area where you can be undisturbed. Add a candle or other source of light to your Crealitation station. Each day, light the candle and spend five minutes giving thanks for this life. Take a deep breath of gratitude, DBG, and ask for help crealitating your own dream life.
Second, choose a journal. This does not have to be anything fancy. Any book or note pad that you are comfortable with will do. Then begin your Crealitation Journey, which is the gathering of evidence for yourself, to help you remember you are alive inside a lucid dream, and that the process will help you identify what is most important to you and remember how to achieve those goals. Label your journal "Crealitation Research Journal #1.” Add at least five minutes to your station time.
Third, choose a Crealitation guide to provide inspiration as you spend five additional minutes in your station each day and choose a yoga mat to make your station more comfortable. Your guide can be anyone who helps you see more deeply into yourself and the world. My guides have included spiritual authors, scientists, favorite musicians and my children. The choice is yours. You can change your guide as often as you like.
And there you go! Congratulations! You are taking the first steps toward living the life of your dreams. This method brought me results far beyond what is mentioned here today. But for now let me leave you with these words: the process works. More on my journey in future blogs, but for now, traveling companions, remember "the process is the point".
